Here are my memories:

  1. The birth of my nephew. Certainly  it was the event that more than anything else excited me. A very strong emotional release that changed the path of my life and probably me too.
  2. 11th September. I was preparing the French exam, in Messina it was still very hot that day, I turned on the TV because I did not want to review the irregular verbs and I found myself in front of an extraordinary edition of the tg2 that tried to tell the facts. A moment that I will never forget. An event that has involved many countries in the world, which has shown how easy it was to strike and how violently it could be done. It demonstrated to countries that did not know what terrorism was and unfortunately opened a wave of discrimination and racism against Islam that I believe has not yet ended.

R.C. from Italy

Sharing Europe from Florence started to collect memories from local citizens interested in the project activities. We asked participants to “write a message in a bottle” for the future, by sharing a relevant story for them.
